According to reports, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Australia said it has found no dumping or subsidizing of imported Vietnamese precision steel pipes and tubes.

The Ministry made the conclusion on June 1st after the investigation by the Australian Anti-Dumping Commission into such products from Vietnam, China, and South Korea.

The Anti-Dumping Commission said it found no evidence of the prices of raw materials in Vietnam and other countries. Also, there were no signs that the government subsidized exporting products and distorted the normal value.

The dumping margins of Vietnamese companies were negative by -12.2% and -6.5%, and those companies did not get subsidies from the government. Therefore, the precision tubes from Vietnam did not harm the domestic steelmaking industry.
