After a 15-month suspension, Aluminij Industries d.o.o., an aluminum producer in Bosnia and Herzegovina, resumed its production because it signed an agreement of a long-term lease for its production assets in April with its partners, China Machinery Engineering Corporation (CMEC) and China Nonferrous Metal Industry's Foreign Engineering and Construction Co. Ltd. (NFC).

In the first two months after restarting the production, Aluminij planned to produce 3,000 tons of aluminum logs, and the output in 2021 was expected to reach 50,000 tons.
