Brazilian pig iron exports significantly hike in Apr

According to statistics from Brazil Ministry of Development, Industry and Foreign Trade (MDIC), Brazil exported around 278,000 tons of pig iron this
April, a year-on-year increase of 55.7%.

Brazilian pig iron exports in April were mainly to the US and China, accounting for 32% and 30.25% of the total export volume.

In the first four months of this year, Brazil totally exports roughly 1.12 million tons of pig iron, rising by 41.8% compared to the same period a year earlier.
