Brazil's CSP touches milestone of 10 million tons of slab shipment on May 17

According to the market, Companhia Siderúrgica do Pecém (CSP), one of the slab manufacturers in Brazil, had accumulated ship over 10 million tons of slab from the harbor which in the same region of its company on May 17th.

As known, CSP was joint-ventured by Vale S.A., Dongkuk Steel, and POSCO, and CSP started to produce slab since 2016, and the shipment of the slab from CSP had hit a historical high in the first 138 days this year.

Among them, the main destination was the US, counted by over 41% of the total, followed by Turkey (12.8%), South Korea (9.1%), and Brazil (8.5%).
