Brazil’s pig iron exports have m-o-m increase of 4.9% in Apr

According to statistics from Brazil's Secretariat of Foreign Trade (SECEX), Brazil’s pig iron exports amounted to around 368,000 tons in April, experiencing an increase of 4.9% compared to the previous month.

In the month, the exports were mostly to the US, totaling around 329,000 tons. Europe ranked second with nearly 26,000 tons, followed by the Asian countries with 12,000 tons.

The deliveries in April were mainly shipped by suppliers in the Minas Gerais and Espírito Santo, where a total of approximately 320,000 tons were shipped.
