Canada launches AD investigation on rebars from 7 countries

The Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) launched an anti-dumping (AD) investigation on certain concrete reinforcing bar (rebar) imports from Algeria, Egypt, Indonesia, Italy, Malaysia, Singapore, and Vietnam on September 22.

The investigation was started based on a complaint filed by Canadian producers AltaSteel Inc., ArcelorMittal Long Products Canada, and Gerdau Ameristeel Corporation.
