China becomes India's largest steel destination

According to the statistics from the market, China has become the largest steel destination in India, mainly stimulating by the strong demand for automobiles in China.

Among them, the total shipment of steel from India to China from April to September came to around 1.9 million tons, increased by almost 760 times from the same period last year.

In the first half of this year, the total exports of steel from India were around 6.5 million tons, increased by 66.3% year on year.

Moreover, the hot-rolled coil exports from India also faced dramatically increase, almost double from the same period of last year, came to around 4.5 million tons.
