China’s crude steel production grows in Apr

According to statistics, China produced around 85 million tons of crude steel in April, growing by 0.2% compared to the same month a year ago, with an average daily output of around 2.83 million tons.

In the first four months of this year, China’s crude steel output was roughly 319.5 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 1.3%.

Besides, during the same period, China's steel production totaled around 107 million tons, increasing by 3.6% compared to April 2019. The steel output from January to April was approximately 374.4 million tons, a year-on-year decrease of 0.2%.
