China’s stainless crude steel output declines 6% y-o-y in H1, 2020

According to the official statistic from China, the total output of stainless crude steel in the first half of this year was around 13 million tons, decreased by 6% year on year.

Moreover, the total imports of stainless steel in the first half of this year in China were around 91,400 tons, declined by 6.4% year on year; and the total exports of stainless steel from China in the first half of 2020 were around 1.6 million tons, decreased by 5% year on year.

By the apparent consumption, the total number in China this first half was around 11.2 million tons, decreased by 6% year on year.
