China’s unwrought aluminum alloy imports & exports statistics in May & Jan-May

According to China Customs statistics, China’s imports of unwrought aluminum alloy totaled around 87,000 tons in May, falling by 2% compared to the previous month while hiking by 25.3% from the same month a year ago. The exports in May had a month-on-month decrease of nearly 17% and a year-on-year reduction of 29% to around 12,000 tons.

In the first five months of this year, the imports of unwrought aluminum alloy reached around 395,000 tons, up by 17.8% year on year; the exports amounted to roughly 73,000 tons, sliding by 20.4% year on year.
