Chinese iron ore price index hikes on Aug 3

According to the data from China Iron and Steel Association (CISA), China Iron Ore Price Index (CIOPI) was 409.78 points on August 3, which was up by 2.56% or 10.23 points compared with the previous CIOPI on July 31.

The domestic iron ore price index was 358.53 points, rising by 0.09% or 0.32 points compared to the previous price index; the import iron ore price index was 419.47 points, hiking by 2.97% or 12.11 points from the previous one.
