Chinese iron ore price index rises on Oct 12

According to the data from China Iron and Steel Association (CISA), China Iron Ore Price Index (CIOPI) was 444.70 points on October 12, which was up by 0.31% or 1.40 points compared with the previous CIOPI on October 9.

The domestic iron ore price index was 373.66 points, hiking by 0.84% or 3.10 points compared to the previous price index; the import iron ore price index was 458.13 points, increasing by 0.23% or 1.07 points from the previous one.
