Colombian ferronickel exports slide in Jan-May

According to statistics from Colombia's National Administrative Department of Statistics (DANE), in the first five months of this year, Colombia exported around 46,600 tons of ferronickel, falling by 12.5% from the same period a year ago. The export value was roughly US$161.8 million, down by 13.3% year on year.
In May, Colombia exported around 10,600 tons of ferronickel, significantly rising by 516.4% year on year. The export value was approximately US$30.9 million, which hiked by 349.6% compared to the same month of 2019.
