European HRC imports drop in Mar

According to the latest data from the European Steel Association (EUROFER), the European Union (EU) imported approximately 453,000 tons of hot-rolled coil (HRC) in March, dropping by 16% from the previous month and 40% from the same month a year ago.

Among them, the EU imported around 140,000 tons from Turkey, increasing by 180 tons from a month ago while falling by 56% year on year. Russia supplied about 137,000 tons, sliding by 21% month on month while rising by 23% year on year.
