Ferrexpo's iron ore pellet production increases in Q1

Ferrexpo plc, a Swiss-headquartered iron ore company, reported its iron ore pellet production (including pellet and fines) of around 2.78 million tons in the first quarter of this year, decreasing by 2% compared to the same period a year ago.

Among them, the production of iron ore pellet was around 2.71 million tons, a year-on-year decrease of 0.4%. The output of 67% Fe pellet had a quarter-on-quarter decrease of 77% and that of 65% Fe pellet was down by 9% quarter on quarter.

Ferrexpo’s operations and logistics in the first quarter were less affected by the COVID-19 epidemic.
