French crude steel production declines in Jan

According to French Steel Federation (FFA), France produced approximately 1.2 million tons of crude steel in January 2021, declining by 7.7% from 1.3 million tons in the same period a year ago.

France's crude steel monthly average output was around 970,000 tons in 2020 and 1.2 million tons in 2019, decreasing by 19.8% and 6.1% year on year, respectively.
