It was reported that Indian aluminum producers increased their aluminum exports and decreased input costs to conquer the impact of the novel coronavirus epidemic.

According to market participants in India, the blockade didn’t cause a great effect on the country’s aluminum production since this metal was an important commodity.

Although the demand from the power transmission, automobiles and construction industries largely reduced in the domestic market amid the epidemic, higher aluminum exports have offset the domestic losses caused by the weak demand.
