India’s finished steel sheet imports rise 27% in Apr

According to the latest data, India had imported 380,000 tons of finished steel sheet in April, which increased by about 27% compared with March.

Judging by the types of steel in April, India imported 130,000 tons of hot-rolled coil and plate, 150,000 tons of electromagnetic steel, 80,000 tons of galvanized steel, and 20,000 tons of cold-rolled coil.

Moreover, the main supplying countries were South Korea (210,000 tons), China (70,000 tons), and Japan (50,000 tons).
