According to statistics, Inner Mongolia exported 10,000 tons of aluminum to the ASEAN countries in the first quarter of this year, which surged by 746.7 times compared to the same period a year ago.

The figure hit a new high since the outbreak of the COVID-19 epidemic, which meant that the global aluminum demand is rebounding with the recovery in the global economy, especially the demand from the ASEAN countries.

In the first quarter of this year, Inner Mongolia’s aluminum exports reached 11,000 tons, a year-on-year increase of 30.8 times, of which the ASEAN countries accounted for 10,000 tons, 94.6% of the total aluminum exports of Inner Mongolia.
