Japan’s buyers to afford 24-25% higher aluminum premium in Q3

It was reported the aluminum premium for Japan’s buyers has been higher by 24% to 25% in the third quarter, set at US$185/ton.

In the previous quarter, the premium for aluminum shipment was US$148-149/ton.

The adjustment in aluminum premiums for the July-September quarter was the fourth straight quarterly increase and the highest level since the second quarter in 2015.
