JSW Steel’s crude steel production slides in Feb

According to statistics from JSW Steel, the largest integrated steel manufacturer in India, the firm’s crude steel production totaled around 1.3 million tons in February, sliding by 8.4% compared to the previous month and 1% from the same month a year ago.

JSW Steel’s production of steel plates had a year-on-year decrease of 6% to 927,000 tons, and that of long products hiked by 10% year on year to around 340,000 tons.

The average capacity utilization rate in February was 93%.
