LME approves aluminum warehouses at Port Klang

According to reports, the London Metal Exchange (LME) just approved the listing of 2 new storage sites in Port Klang, representing the Malaysian port's emergence as one main LME warehousing place.

LME has been setting up more capacity at Port Klang and collective pivot to Malaysia and showing no plans for cutting. There are 115 LME-registered sheds in Port Klang now.

LME's storage capacity at Port Klang rose by 31% to 549,000 square meters by June 2020, the fastest growth rate than any other LME delivery location.
