ProfilGruppen forced to exit Polish aluminum operation

ProfilGruppen, a Swedish supplier of aluminum solutions, announced that its acquisition offer for the leased profile operations in Poland has been rejected. This decision mandates a shutdown of the facility, which the company must vacate no later than early January next year.

The company had been leasing the undisclosed aluminum plant since earlier this year, following an announcement in February 2025 about its intention to acquire the site.

The rejection means ProfilGruppen is now focusing on identifying alternative solutions and working to minimize any resulting financial loss. Although there is a slight chance that the Polish insolvency administrators might reconsider the offer, the company is moving forward with the closure plan.
