According to statistics from the Russian Federal State Statistics Service (Rosstat), Russian stainless steel production totaled around 16,200 tons in November, increasing by 22.1% from the same month a year ago and also up by 5.8% compared to the previous month.

In the first 11 months of this year, Russian stainless steel output reached roughly 137,000 tons, a year-on-year hike of 1.1%.

Russia’s stainless steel demand is steady because the main consumers are industries in nuclear energy and power engineering, shipbuilding, defense industry, and oil and gas complex, all of which have sufficient funds and long-term plans.
