Russia’s Gazprom Neft to increase graphite electrode production capacity to meet growing domestic demand

Gazprom Neft, an oil and gas company in Russia, is implementing a development project to build a graphite electrode plant in the Avangard Special Economic Zone in Omsk.

According to the official statement, the design capacity of this plant will be 30,000 tons per year, which will meet the growing domestic demand for heavy-duty graphite electrodes and greatly reduce the dependence on graphite electrode imports.
