According to the market statistic from Taiwan, the total exports of the screw from Taiwan in 2020 showed only 1.4 million tons, decreased by over 8% from 2019, which was also the weakest performance in the recent decade.

Among them, the total amount of exports of the screw came to US$413 million, also weaker than past two years.

By some of the views from market participants, the main reason for the weak performance of screw exporting was suffered by the worsening epidemic situation of Covid-19 in the world, but most of them still believed the situation would improve this year, especially of the increasing demand for automobiles in the whole world.
