Taiwan’s stainless steel straight bar imports & exports hike in Sep

According to statistics, Taiwan imported around 990 tons of stainless steel straight bars in September, up by 19.42% compared to the previous month.

Among them, the imports from India ranked first, with around 330 tons, surging by 57.49% month on month; followed by Japan and South Korea, with a separate volume of roughly 300 tons and 240 tons, a month-on-month decrease of 6.94% and a month-on-month increase of 30.56% respectively.

In terms of exports, Taiwan’s stainless steel straight bar exports amounted to around 700 tons in September, slightly up by 0.86% from last month.

Among them, the exports were mainly to Vietnam with roughly 140 tons, more than doubled from August; followed by China with around 100 tons, a month-on-month reduction of 8.85%.
