Trump cancels tariffs on UAE’s aluminum imports

About 90 minutes before Biden was sworn in at the Capitol on Wednesday (January 20, Trump canceled the 10% tariff on the aluminum imports from the UAE, saying that the two countries had reached an agreement on aluminum import quota, which will limit aluminum imports.

The policy will take effect on February 3.

According to Biden, he will not immediately lift the tariffs imposed by Trump after his inauguration but to have negotiations with the US’ trading partners.
