Ukraine's crude steel production decreases in Jan-Jun

According to the Ukrainian League of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs (ULIE), Ukraine produced around 10 million tons of crude steel in the first six months of 2020, decreasing by 7.6% from the same period a year ago.

During the same period, Ukraine also produced 10 million tons of pig iron and 9 million tons of steel products, declining by 2.6% and 4.7% year on year, respectively.

In 2019, Ukraine produced about 21 million tons of crude steel, 20 million tons of pig iron, and 18 million tons of steel products.
