5 more ASI-certified aluminum smelters

RUSAL, a global aluminum giant, recently declared five more ASI-certificated smelters, bringing the total amount to eighteen.

The newly certified smelters, the Novokuznetsk smelter, the Volgograd smelter, the Taishet smelter, Aluminium Rheinfelden Alloys, and Rheinfelden Semis, have all passed stringent ASI audits conducted by Bureau Veritas Certification Rus. These audits comprehensively assessed all aspects of the operations to ensure compliance with the ASI Performance Standard and ASI Chain of Custody Standard.

RUSAL’s expansion of ASI-certified facilities underscores its success in integrating the best Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) practices into practical.
