Aluminium Bahrain Launches Forced Cooling Network Project

In order to increase its production capacity, in August 2021, Aluminium Bahrain B.S.C. (Alba), one of the largest industrial companies in the Middle East and the second biggest aluminum smelter in the world, planned to build its Forced Cooling Network (FCN) Project at Potlines 4 and 5.

The construction began in March 2022. This week, the FCN Project was put into operation and would be managed by Alba’s Operations and Engineering teams. With this project, Alba’s annual output was expected to be increased by around 17,000 tons.
