Due to the surging aluminum prices, a huge increase in transportation costs, and China’s increase in electricity prices, coupled with electricity restriction in another 12 provinces and districts in China, the prices of aluminum electrolytic capacitors and aluminum foil were expected to hike in the near future. The new prices were expected to start after October although the increased range hasn’t been firmed yet.

Recently, both aluminum electrolytic capacitor plants and aluminum foil factories have begun bargaining with their customers to negotiate the price increase. A new wave of price increases might start in October and November.
