Aluminum prices rise in SHFE amid strong demands

According to the report, due to limited supply and the rapid growth of consumption in the solar energy and electric vehicle industries, speculative transactions that have led to an expected increase in demand have affected the price of the main raw material, alumina, to rise strongly.

The Shanghai Futures Exchange's (SHFE) traded alumina contract rose last week, driving SHFE aluminum futures prices to rise on May 27. Besides, the London Metal Exchange (LME) was under the bank holiday today.
