Australia announces ruling for mid-term review on Malaysia’s aluminum extrusions

On June 23, 2025, the Australian Anti-Dumping Commission released the anti-dumping (AD) notice No. 2025/047, stating that the Minister for Industry and Science has accepted the commission's final recommendations from a review concerning aluminum extrusions imported from Malaysia.

According to the ruling, PMB Aluminium Sdn Bhd (PMBA), a Malaysian company involved in the case, was found to have a dumping margin of -4.4%. Therefore, the interim AD duty rate for PMBA is not applicable.

This decision impacts products under Australian Customs codes 7604.10.00.06, 7604.21.00.07, 7604.21.00.08, 7604.29.00.09, 7604.29.00.10, 7608.10.00.09, 7608.20.00.10, 7610.10.00.12, and 7610.90.00.13.

The products involved are under HS codes 7604.10.00.06, 7604.21.00.07, 7604.21.00.08, 7604.29.00.09, 7604.29.00.10, 7608.10.00.09, 7608.20.00.10, 7610.10.00.12, and 7610.90.00.13.
