Australia extends time to issue statement of essential facts & final report of AD & CVD measures on China’s aluminum extrusions

On November 28, 2022, the Australian Anti-Dumping Commission announced an extension of the deadline to publish the statement of essential facts, the final report, and recommendations on the anti-dumping (AD) and countervailing duty (CVD) measures on aluminum extrusions from China.

The statement of essential facts will be issued no later than February 28, 2023, and the final report and recommendation to the Minister for Industry and Science will be provided on or before May 19, 2023.

The products involved are under HS codes 7604.10.00.06, 7604.21.00.07, 7604.21.00.08, 7604.29.00.09, 7604.29.00.10, 7608.10.00.09, 7608.20.00.10, 7610.10.00.12, and 7610.90.00.13. The AD duty rate on these products is 2.7% to 25.7%, and the CVD rate is 3.8% to 18.4%.
