Australia makes final AD & CVD ruling on China’s aluminum extrusions

The Australian Anti-Dumping Commission announced that the Acting Minister for Industry and Science has accepted the commission’s recommendations and reasons for the affirmative final determination of anti-dumping (AD) and countervailing duties (CVD) for new exporters on aluminum extrusions exported from China’s Antai Technology Co., Ltd., deciding to impose an interim dumping duty (IDD) based on the floor price method and an interim countervailing duty (ICD) of 2.1%.

These measures take effect retrospectively from March 3, 2023.

The AD and CVD new exporter review investigation was initiated on March 24, 2023, following an application filed by Antai. The products involved are under 7604.10.00.06, 7604.21.00.07, 7604.21.00.08, 7604.29.00.09, 7604.29.00.10, 7608.10.00.09, 7608.20.00.10, 7610.10.00.12, and 7610.90.00.13.
