Australia’s AD measure on China’s rebar to expire on April 13, 2026

On February 13, 2025, the Australian Anti-Dumping Commission announced that the anti-dumping (AD) measure on steel reinforcing bars from China is going to expire on April 13, 2026.

Interested parties should submit their application for the expiry probe by April 14, 2025. If no application is received by the deadline, this AD measure on the subject products from China will expire on April 13, 2026, and the measure will be no longer available from April 14, 2026.

The products involved are hot-rolled deformed steel reinforcing bars (rebar) whether or not in coil form, with a diameter not exceeding 50 mm, excluding plain round bars, stainless steel, and reinforcing mesh. These products are classified under HS codes 7213.10.00.42, 7214.20.00.47, 7227.90.10.69, 7227.90.90.01, 7227.90.90.02, 7227.90.90.04, 7228.30.10.70, 7228.30.90.40, and 7228.60.10.72.
