Brazil ended the anti-dumping (AD) investigation on 304 grade cold-rolled stainless steel sheets originating in South Africa and Indonesia on November 4 and decided not to impose AD duties on the subject goods from the two countries as there was no sufficient evidence to prove that there were subsidies for compensatory measures on these products during the period of investigation from April 2019 to March 2020.

The products involved are under HS codes 7219.32.00, 7219.33.00, 7219.34.00, 7219.35.00, and 7220.20.90.

This AD investigation was launched at the request of the local producer Aperam Inox América do Sul S.A.
