Brazil extends AD investigation on carbon steel seamless steel line pipes from China & Romania

Brazil's Secretariat of Foreign Trade (SECEX) announced to extend the anti-dumping (AD) investigation on carbon steel seamless line pipe imports from China and Romania, based on a request submitted by the local steel pipe maker Vallourec in April 2022.

The products involved are carbon steel seamless line pipes, with diameters of up to 5 inches (141.3 mm), mainly used in the construction of oil and gas pipelines for conveying and storing fluids, classified under HS codes 7304.19.00, 7304.31.90, 7304.39.10, and 7304.39.90.

The investigation was extended by two months from June 22.
