Brazilian distributors' flat steel sales increase in Jun

According to data from Brazil's National Institute of Steel Distributors (INDA), in June, Brazil's flat steel product sales from distributors were about 339,000 tons, slightly increasing by about 19% from the same month a year ago. Meanwhile, the purchasing amount was about 353,000 tons, increasing by 20.2% year on year. Stocks totaled around 930,000 tons.

The imports of flat steel products accounted for about 20% of the total Brazilian domestic market share. In June, they continued to increase, reaching about 211,000 tons, a year-on-year increase of 4.9% but a decrease of 13.3% compared to May.
