Brazil's pig iron exports drop in Jun

According to Brazilian customs, Brazil exported approximately 210,000 tons of pig iron in June, compared with about 325,000 tons in the previous month.

The major destinations included the United States (about 182,000 tons), the Netherlands (about 27,000 tons), Asia (about 1,300 tons), and Argentina (about 300 tons).

Those pig iron came from independent producers in the southeastern states of Minas Gerais and Espírito Santo (152,000 tons), the northern state of Pará (51,000 tons), and the central and western state of Mato Grosso do Sul (7,000 tons)
