Luxembourg-based stainless steel producer Aperam S.A. announced that Aperam infinite™ near-zero carbon premium stainless steel will be used by German home appliance manufacturer BSH Hausgeräte GmbH in its dishwasher production, enabling BSH home appliances to further move towards the goal of carbon reduction and the sustainable development of its operations.

Comparing Aperam infinite™ with Aperam's standard grades, Aperam infinite™'s carbon footprint is 47% lower. If compared with industry standards, Aperam infinite™'s carbon emissions can be reduced by 85% because 98% of the steel is made of recycled materials.

The company is planning to expand its product range and increase production to meet carbon reduction targets.
