China decreases stainless imports & exports in Jan-Nov 2023

According to statistics from the China Iron and Steel Association (CISA), China's stainless steel imports totaled around 133,000 tons in November, falling by 53.3% compared to the previous month and by 54.5% from the same month a year ago.

In terms of exports, China exported roughly 357,000 tons of stainless steel in November, a month-on-month increase of 6.2% and a year-on-year drop of 10.9%.

In the first 11 months of last year, China's stainless steel imports amounted to approximately 1.8 million tons, a year-on-year decrease of 40.9%. Stainless steel exports during the period reached 3.8 million tons, a year-on-year decrease of 8.6%.
