China offers zero tariff policies for 98% of products from 10 countries

China's Customs Tariff Commission of the State Council announced to offer zero tariff policies for 98% of products from 10 countries.

They are all the least developed countries including Afghanistan, Benin, Burkina Faso, Guinea-Bissau, Lesotho, Malawi, Sao Tome and Principe, Tanzania, Uganda, and Zambia.

The new policy will come into effect on December 1, 2022. The involved products are indicated in the No. 8 document from China's Customs Tariff Commission in 2021. It includes total of 8,786 HS codes.
