China’s A00 aluminium ingot price declines by RMB140/t; Low-carbon aluminium price dwindles by RMB164/t

On Wednesday, June 26, China’s A00 aluminium ingot price declined by RMB 140 per tonne to settle at RMB 20,060 per tonne, with the spot contract price expected to be traded at a discount price of RMB 90 to RMB 50 per tonne. The average prices may stand between RMB 20,040 per tonne and RMB 20,080 per tonne.
According to the SMM data, the A00 aluminium ingot prices have fallen in all the provinces, with the highest in Foshan, followed by Tianjin, where they have slumped by RMB 160 per tonne and RMB 150 per tonne. The price in Foshan settled at RMB 19,840 per tonne, and in Tianjin, it reached RMB 20,110 per tonne.
In other regions like Gongyi, Hangzhou, and Linyi, the prices have contracted by RMB 140 per tonne to RMB 19,920 per tonne and RMB 20,060 per tonne. On the same day, the prices in Wuxi and Shenyang have dipped by RMB 130 per tonne to RMB 20,060 per tonne and RMB 20,040 per tonne. In Chongqing, the SMM aluminium ingot price has slipped by RMB 120 per tonne to RMB 19,980 per tonne.
