The domestic price of low-carbon aluminium has hiked by RMB 101 per tonne to come in at RMB 19,999 per tonne. The high purity aluminium (99.99%) price and high purity aluminium (99.996%) price have added RMB 100 per tonne to halt at RMB 26,900 per tonne and RMB 27,900 per tonne.
On the same day, the SMM data revealed that the average alumina spot price has grown by RMB 9 per tonne to reach RMB 3,325 per tonne. The price in Henan has shot up by RMB 20 per tonne to settle at RMB 3,370 per tonne. Shanxi's price has grown by RMB 10 per tonne to reach RMB 3,380 per tonne. In Shandong and Guangxi, the alumina prices have added RMB 5 per tonne to reside at RMB 3,180 per tonne and RMB 3,350 per tonne.
The Australian alumina FOB price has gained RMB 15 per tonne to peg at RMB 371 per tonne. The price of aluminium alloy (A356) has hiked by RMB 100 per tonne to clock at RMB 19,850 per tonne, with average prices between RMB 19,700 per tonne and RMB 20,000 per tonne. The aluminium powder price has inched up by RMB 0.1 per kg to come in at RMB 21.8 per kg, with the average prices standing between RMB 21.7 per kg and RMB 21.9 per kg.
