China's aluminum-related products import & export statistics in Jul

According to customs data, China's imports of aluminum ore and its concentrate grew by 34.2% year on year to around 20 million tons in June. In the first seven months of the year, cumulative aluminum ore and its concentrate imports reached 123.26 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 33.7%.
Alumina exports also rose, up by 56.4% year on year to 230,000 tons in July. The cumulative imports in the January-July period grew by 64.3% year on year to 1.57 million tons.
Imports of unwrought aluminum and aluminum products climbed by 38.2% year on year in July to 360,000 tons. However, exports of those products fell by 7.6% year on year in July to 540,000 tons. For the first seven months of this year, imported unwrought aluminum and aluminum products hiked by 1.5% year on year to 2.33 million tons, while exports dropped by 7.9% year on year to 3.46 million tons.
