China’s average alumina spot price reaches RMB5056/t; A00 aluminium ingot price falls to RMB20780/t

On Thursday, October 31, the average alumina spot price in China has gained RMB 49 per tonne to settle at RMB 5,056 per tonne. The average alumina prices have shown growth in all the major regions, with the highest in Guizhou where it has surged by RMB 65 per tonne to settle at RMB 5000 per tonne.

On the same day, the prices in Henan, Shanxi and Guangxi have hiked by RMB 50 per tonne to clock at RMB 5,050 per tonne, RMB 5,110 per tonne and RMB 5,000 per tonne. As per the SMM data, the price in Shandong has ascended by RMB 25 per tonne to arrive at RMB 5,060 per tonne. Both Lianyungang and Bayuquan have shown a growth of RMB 100 per tonne to peg at RMB 4,700 per tonne.

The domestic price of low carbon aluminium has lost RMB 62 per tonne to peg at RMB 21,703 per tonne. The price of high-purity aluminium (99.99%) and high-purity aluminium (99.996%) has declined by RMB 100 per tonne to halt at RMB 27,800 per tonne and RMB 28,800 per tonne.
