China’s bauxite & alumina imports statistics in Apr

According to statistics from China Customs, China imported around 8.74 million tons of bauxite in April, dropping by 12.3% from the same month a year ago. The imports of alumina totaled around 235,000 tons during the period, a year-on-year increase of 7.4%.

In the first four months of this year, China’s bauxite imports reached approximately 35.9 million tons, a year-on-year reduction of 6.4%. The imports of alumina had a year-on-year drop of 20.55% to roughly 991,000 tons.
