China’s daily production of crude steel decreases in late Aug

According to statistics from the China Iron and Steel Association (CISA), the daily output of crude steel from CISA’s key enterprise members totaled around 2.1 million tons in the period from August 21 to 31, decreasing by 7.7% compared to the previous ten days.
The daily average output of pig iron from key enterprise members during the period slid by 6.1% from ten days ago to roughly 1.9 million tons, and that of finished steel products grew by 1.8% to approximately 2.2 million tons.
